Here's a volunteer adjusting the
weathervane on
the barn's
cupola.
Borders
Farm is a non-profit, educational farm museum dedicated to the
preservation of the history, buildings, farm and animals of a 20th
century farm. Our organization seeks funds from contributions and
grants. These funds will be used for operating expenses, special
projects, public events and building improvements. We are
commited to:
- preservation of land areas for outdoor
recreation by, or for the education of, the general public
- protection of a relatively natural habitat
of fish, wildlife, or plants, or similar ecosystem
- preservation of certain open space
(including farmland and forest land)
- preservation of historically important
land or certified historic structure
If you're not
ready yet to commit to a membership,
please consider being a
volunteer on some of our projects. Or, if your schedule
doesn't allow for volunteer time, then perhaps you would consider a
donation.
We
are a 501(c)3 non-profit organization and all of your donations are
fully tax deductible. If you can help us by donating $20, $50,
$100 or
more (or any amount for that matter), it would be greatly appreciated.
