Boy Scout Troop 101, Foster, will perform a flag ceremony. Kimberly Brayton, vocalist, will perform and lead the singing of patriotic songs, and Senator Leo Blais will be the speaker. Questions, please call 647-5689. The Borders Farm Preservation, Inc., annual meeting is current scheduled for October 5, 2009, at 6:00 p.m. The meeting will be at 31 North Road, and is open to all members. Many members will be bringing yummy food to the event and everyone is welcome to do the same. At the meeting, there will be annual reports on topics such as finances, garden, fundraising, volunteers, and others. Please use the comment section below to coordinate is needed for food items, etc.

We’ll be meeting at the garden starting at 2:00 p.m. to perform general garden maintenance. So far we have contributed 35 pounds of broccoli to the RI Food Bank and this week we will be contributing cabbage. Help us help those in need. |
